Christmas
We had an AMAZING Christmas weekend here at the Bartlett house! Grandpa & Grandma Lesher came over from Missouri Valley & Aunt Tami came from Wisconsin to celebrate. We went to Great Aunt Susan's house on Christmas Eve, church on Christmas morning, Christmas with the Lesher's in Woolstock on Christmas Day, Des Moines on Monday, and relaxing and enjoying family time the rest of the weekend. That was a pretty quick recap of the holiday weekend, but here's a TON of pictures from all the fun.

After Aunt Sue's we stopped by Great Grandma Carol's to open stockings.

Christmas morning!

This is definitely NOT Caleb's 3-wheeler!

Happy Birthday Nana Mary
15 Months
Caleb celebrated his 15 month birthday on Christmas Eve. Here's the big guy on his bday.

The poor guy had a rough birthday morning when he tangled with a door frame. But he came out of it after some hugs and kisses from his momma.

Lately he's been getting really good at identfying objects that he wants with sign or words. He basically runs anywhere he wants to go and has left the crawling phase in the dust. He is a very happy and easy baby, which makes a happy mom & dad!

Deer Camp 2011
Last weekend was Andy's annual trek to eastern Iowa for deer camp. The whole group was there this year, and we had a blast! We shot 10 deer as a group, and here's some pics from the camp.
The group with a big doe shot out of Moosehead.

Tired after a long drive.

Good ol' Mitch was pretty wore out on Saturday he could barely keep watch!

Scott's big doe.

Seth's big doe.

Some of the Sunday night shenanigans. Seth & Mitch posing with "The Hamburglar".

Story Time
Last Christmas Grandma Mary recorded a story book for Caleb. It is Frosty the Snowman and she sang the whole thing too! And this year, it's Caleb's favorite book. He pretty much reads/listens to it every night!!! Thanks Grandma!

Thanksgiving
We headed east this year for Thanksgiving and spent the long weekend at Grandma Mary's. We had a great time with lots of good times with family & friends.
Here's Trish & Grandma Mary with their very festive "turkey" cheese balls.
Caleb took a liking to the empty paper towel rolls. He'd use them as a megaphone and yell into one end. Here he is yelling at Grandma to get some stuff done!
While we were there Caleb celebrated his 14 month birthday! He's getting to be such a little man. His vocabulary is expanding too with favorite words now like "shoes, kitty, Bob, uh-oh, and Oh Yeah".
Of course there was lots of cuddle time for Caleb & Grandma!

PooP
So I left Caleb buck naked in his crib tonight as I got his bath ready. As I walked in to the room to get him, I hear him straining and grunting as he always does when he goes poop! I quick snatched him up and noticed he had piddled a little bit on the floor! It wasn't until after the bath when I walked back into his room, that I noticed this little present that he dropped on the way to the bath!!!!!

Hello Hello
Caleb picked up Trish's phone tonight & the first thing he does is put it to his ear!
Before we know it he'll be doing simple multiplication! Sorry the picture's blurry, this kid won't ever stay still!

Happy Halloween!
We took Caleb out trick-or-treating tonight for the first time ever! He was dressed as a little monkey and was the cutest kid in town! Minutes before leaving the house Mom & Dad decided to throw some costumes on as well. Here's the Bartlett Family - aka Albert Pujols, little Monkey, and Kitty Kat!
We turn our heads for one second and the little monkey was in the tree!
We ran into Caleb's best friend from daycare, Liam (aka- Mr. Elephant).
When we got home, we lit Caleb's pumpkin and had some candy!
Happy Halloween everyone!!!!

Day at the Farm
Today we went with Grandma Mary to our new property to hang out, ride the 4-wheeler, and have some lunch. It was a bit windy and a little cold, but we stayed & had fun for a couple hours.
Caleb turned the bed of the truck into his personal playpen!
Mommy did all of the gutting, Dad just jumped in to make it look like he helped!!!
Caleb managed to get loose from the truck and ran all over the place!
Of course Dad did a little Timber Stand Improvement while we were there too. What a man!
All in all, it was a nice Sunday. Thanks for coming to visit Grandma, we had a lot of fun!
