Emmett 6 Months

Emmett turned 6 months old today!  He had his 6 month check-up yesterday too. He weighed 20 lbs 2 ozs & was 27 1/2 inches long, putting him somewhere in the 90th percentile! He is a BIG boy!

Emmett is rolling over like crazy & does a decent job of sitting up on his own.  He's been enjoying rice cereal in his diet for awhile now & just had his first real food a few nights ago.

He's such a joy in our life with his smiles & giggles!  Here's some pics of him at 6 months.

3 months

Happy 3 month birthday to our little Emmett James!  New this month is that Emmett is really starting to smile back at people and react with giggling and laughing when you tickle him.  Caleb & him continue to be best friends and get along great!

Camping

I took Caleb on his first camping trip last night!  We went to the secluded, beautiful location of OUR BACKYARD!!!  I wanted to take him to our farm, but Trish said we better try it out in the backyard first in case it didn't go well!

Camp.

Enjoying the campfire.

This is what I woke up to this morning.  Actually I woke up about a hundred times throughout the night to him ramming his legs into my ribs!
To say he enjoyed it would be an understatement!  Normal bedtime in our house is 8:00pm and I was still up at 10:30 listening to his stories and questions!  Finally when I thought he was getting tired and falling asleep I would hear "Pssst, Daaad?!?!"  And it would start all over again!  He had a great time camping and threw a fit this morning when we had to come back in the house because Mommy was leaving for work and somebody had to watch baby Emmett!

The next goal will be tearing the tent down today without another giant meltdown.
